Squee Sunday

I have a very silly squee today. I was idly surfing Ravelry when I decided to check out how many downloads my patterns have had. It turns out that someone has actually made my Pug Dog Washcloth!

This is the first time someone's made anything of mine, and I don't know what the etiquette is, but I was so excited that I dragged the boy through to see the picture. Not sure he really got it...

Does this make me an official designer now?

For more squees, check out Rip it Good.

  2. Have you asked the other person to use the photo on your pattern page? when you've got the project up, click on teh photo and when it comes up there should be a link to say "send photo request: add as a featured photo" and if they say yes, it will appear on your pattern page too.

It is exciting, isn't it! I felt the same when I saw someone else had made my mp3 cuff

  3. ooooh, that's exciting! I always get a thrill when "real" people make something from one of my patterns. I feel kind of maternal - "Awww, look! It's a baby blanket! Awww! That's my pattern!"

  5. Hey, that's not silly at all! I can only imagine how exciting it would be to have someone make one of your patterns! :D (Someday, I hope to write up an owl-making tutorial and find out...)

Also, I love the washcloth, what a cute chart!
