Since this has now definitely been received, I can post it up as an FO
Just a little thank you card, but I think it looks pretty nice. And I had a revelation whilst working on it, about how amazing double sided sticky tape is! I've never used it for cards before, and I've always been pretty unimpressed with the crinkly effect you get with glue, so I bit the bullet and bought some. It makes life so much easier, and makes the cards look really nice!

Well done - I like the little birds :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so beautifully done. Glad to hear that you've discovered The Tape. I use it in all my paper craft stuff. It really does make life easier. And less wrinkly.
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful :) Double sided tape is fab for cards, much easier to handle than glue. Plus you can also get double sided foam tape, to give things a lift off the card, and the possibilities are endless!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful card that is a true gift. Now why didn't I think to cross-stitch a card like that?
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks amazing. I've never thought to do embroidery on a card before. Then again, I mostly shy away from paper-crafting, so that might be why. :)
ReplyDeleteYou've turned a thank you card into a keepsake!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, thoughtful card! I love cross stitched cards, but haven't tried it yet.
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely. What a nice idea! Sending a piece of art in the post ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea. I never thought to put embroidery on a card.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute. Cross stitch is the one thing I haven't got to grips with. I tried it about a year ago...got the thread tangled and chucked it in a corner and it's been there ever since...lol
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I recently got some double-sided tape too. Now thinking of all the other uses for it...!
ReplyDeleteI'm honored to have one of your cards!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The birdies are so sweet and the colors of the whole card work beautifully.
