Year of Projects - Week 9

I've been on holiday all last week, of which, more later. I intended to do a lot of work on my embroidery, but knitting kind of got in the way.


Also, I realised that I would need a youtube tutorial to do any of the other stitches, as I cannot understand the written instructions. It's not the neatest piece of embroidery, but as a first project, I'm proud of it so far.

    Your embroidery looks really nice, I like the autumn colour you have going :) Although I know what you mean about getting distracted, as crocheting does that with me and many other tasks

    I've not embroidered in years, love your project. Used to enjoy doing x-stitch too. Just not enough time to do it all.

    Does embroidery seem to take longer than knitting a big project? Or is it faster b/c you have small spaces to fill in?
    I have yet to try that but have always been fascinated w/it.
